Drs Anky Aarts
MPsy, IFS, SEP, ISP, EMDR, IoPT, CCPT-II

Anky is a systemic therapist who has been working with Nature of Mind practices for over four decades.

 

In addition, she found a calling with Systemic Constellations, IFS, EMDR,  and Somatic psycho-therapeutic modalities. Her focus on subtle body communication is therefore infused with psycho-biological principles of attachment and trauma.

She holds a Doctorandus degree in Philosophy, and a Master of Science degree in Psychology. She is a certified practitioner of Internal Family Systems, Integral Somatic Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, and EMDR.

She has worked in this field for more than four decades. She found her calling with Systemic Constellations, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

 

She draws from these traditions to facilitate subtle psychic movements to shift dysfunctional coping habits towards new possibilities with more authentic self ‘on board.’ These movements allow the autonomic nervous system to come back ‘home,’ and enables the rediscovery of inner peace and chuckles again.

Training

She is certified in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SEP), Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

 

She trained over the decades in Systemic Trauma Constellations, Identity Oriented Psychotherapy (IoPT), Clinical Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) and the Polyvagal application using the felt sense. Other modalities included: hypnotherapy, logo-synthesis, inherited family trauma constellations, mindfulness stress reduction, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and Jungian dream body therapy.

She trained with such pioneering trauma experts as Richard Schwartz, Tony Herbine-Blank, Martha Sweezy, Peter Levine, Daniel Siegel, Bert Hellinger, Stephan Hausner, Raja Selvam, Bessel van der Kolk, Stephen Porges, Kathy Steele, Franz Ruppert, Eugene Gendlin, Gabor Maté, and many others.
